The great advantage of staying at Clearlake Resort, is the wealth of options you have depending on the type of vacation you are interested in. You can come here to get away from the stresses of everyday to relax and fish, or you can come with your family for the exciting high activity water sports.

WATER SPORTS

The calm and warm waters of the lake make it perfect for water sports - jet skiing, wakeboarding, wave runners, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, pontoons and even paddle boats are popular choices. Directly in front of our marina, you will find a safe and undisturbed cove, ideal for waterskiing and tubing. Less than 1/4 mile away is the mouth of Cache Creek which winds like a maze through state park. Canoe the creek, bird watch and experience the spectacular wildlife. Boat, jet-ski and canoe/kayak rentals are available all around the lake. 

WINERIES

With the combination of its high elevation, rugged lands, gentle-sloping and rolling hillsides, Lake County is fast becoming a top wine growing region. There are more than 25 wineries and tasting rooms in the area. Spend a day touring these wineries and you will soon see why Lake County is becoming a premier wine region in California. GOLF

Here are some of the premier golf courses in the Lake County area:
Hidden Valley Golf Course:
Approximately 15 minutes from the resort, an 18 hole championship course which includes driving range, practice bunker, chipping area and putting green for warm-ups, club house, pro shop and restaurant/bar.

Buckingham Golf Course:
Approximately 30 minutes from the resort, this course is rated among the top three 9 hole courses in California. Offers a driving range, pro shop restaurant/bar facilities. Buckingham also has a boat dock available if you find yourself on the water and want to stop in for a bite or round of golf.

Rob Roy Golf Course:
Approximately 20 minutes from the resort. Located at the top of Cobb Mountain. A beautiful, mature 9 hole course situated among tall pines. Though the course sits at an elevation of over 4,000 feet, the course is easy and flat; perfect for beginner golfers and those seeking an easier play. Enjoy top quality food and beverages inside or out on the patio overlooking the course.

Riviera Hills:
Approximately 20 minutes from the resort. A beautiful 9 hole challenging course. Offers Pro Shop and restaurant, lounge and recreation facilities.

Adam Springs:
Approximately 25 minutes from the resort. Another beautiful and challenging 9 hole course also located on Cobb Mountain. Full bar and restaurant facilities available with seating on the deck for breathtaking views of their three greens.

HIKING AND MORE..

Have a passion for the outdoors? Pack up a picnic and take advantage of the miles of trails at Anderson Marsh State Historic Park or Cache Creek. Discover and understand the native plants and animals of the park. Explore the past at the historic Anderson Ranch. Maybe you just want to relax under an old Oak tree in the park while the kids frolic in the pool. Take a boat ride to the many nearby boat-in restaurants, attend a rock concert at Konocti or try your luck at the Casinos. Convenience of shopping also within 1 mile of the resort.
